Golfers Bubba Watson and Davis Love III will officially be participating in the John Deere Classic, which will be held from July 10 through 16 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.

“The John Deere Classic is excited to announce that Bubba Watson and Davis Love III – two of the game’s best-known stars - will be competing in this year’s tournament against some of the top players in the game,” said John Deere Classic tournament director Clair Peterson. “We know our fans are going to be thrilled to get an opportunity to see them play again at Deere Run.”

Other players who are slated to participate in this year’s John Deere Classic include Zach Johnson, Steve Stricker, and Brian Harman, all of who have previously won the tournament. Players champion Si Woo Kim, Colonial champion Kevin Kisner, and veteran Charlie Hoffman will also be competing.

“The John Deere Classic is thrilled to have the mix of elite veteran and young players coming to TPC Deere Run to compete on a great golf course in front of our tremendous fans,” Peterson added.

At least 25 players who participated in this year’s U.S. Open are scheduled to play in the annual John Deere Classic. This will be the 47th edition of the tournament, and it will feature its highest-ever purse of $5.6 million. Players who have yet to opt into the Classic still have until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 7 to do so.
